This book offers an in-depth account of the experiences of the Brigade Sabah Pasukan Gerakan Am during the 2013 Lahad Datu standoff. It chronicles the intense and heroic efforts of the security forces in defending the sovereignty of Malaysia against terrorist infiltrations and the threat of the 5th column. Through the personal testimonies of 61 members of the Brigade Sabah, the book provides a gripping narrative of their courageous actions on the ground in Kampung Tanduo. This book offers an in-depth look into the personal diaries of Alexander Rankin Johnstone Dunlop, a British officer with the British North Borneo Company from 1885 to 1915. Spanning the years 1897 to 1901, the diaries capture the challenging and often perilous journey of early Company rule in Sabah, focusing especially on the relentless pursuit of the notorious rebel leader, Mat Salleh, who led an uprising against the Company from 1894 to 1900.

Datu Mohammad Salleh bin Datu Balu also known as Datu Mat Salleh is a well known warrior during the British North Borneo Chartered Company Era. The book published in 2007 covers 7 sections:- The Earlier Treaties and the Consolidation of Western Power in North Borneo (Sabah) 1763-1881; Mat Salleh's Profile; The Earlier Resistance 1894-1898; Campaign and Series of Fights 1896-1898; The Menggatal Treaty 23 April 1898; The Final Resistance in Tambunan 1899-1900; and Post Mat Salleh’s Era 1900-1915.
